Getting There
There are two main ways to reach Zakynthos
You can take a direct flight from Athens International Airport (ATH) to Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH). The flight is about 1 hour, and multiple airlines operate daily routes. Additionally, if you’re already in Greece, there are flights from several other airports around the country that connect to Zakynthos during the summer season.
If you’re driving or prefer a scenic journey, you can take a ferry from the port of Kyllini on the mainland. The ferry ride to Zakynthos takes approximately 1 hour. Additionally, there are seasonal ferry routes connecting Zakynthos to some neighboring Ionian islands (like Kefalonia), making it easy to hop over if you’re already exploring the region.
